Join us on Saturday, June 3, 2017, for MANNA FoodBank’s biggest bash of the year — the 18th Annual Blue Jean Ball: PIRATES of the SWANNANOA.
Blue Jean Ball is MANNA’s annual “party for a purpose,” with all proceeds benefitting MANNA’s daily work to provide food to thousands of families across Western North Carolina that are struggling to make ends meet. With every dollar raised, MANNA can provide the food for 3.5 meals… your very presence is valuable! So, come party with us. Whether you dress for our theme, wear jeans, or dress like a queen, you can have a great time knowing you are helping provide the most basic necessity in life: food!

This year, we have a special treat: Singer Michelle Amato — who has toured and recorded with numerous artists, including Quincy Jones, Jon Secada, Liza Minnelli, Al Green, Sandi Patty, Jon Hendricks, Donna Summer, Michael McDonald, and more — will front an all-star lineup of musicians for a band formed just for this event! These incredible artists will keep your on your feet with an energetic, party-perfect mix of the best rock, funk, soul and dance music.
Michelle Amato and the Booty is a special collaboration with the area’s top local musicians: Jason DeCristofaro on drums, Jaime Warren on trombone, Frank Southecorvo on baritone saxophone, Woody Dotson on trumpet, Tyler Kittle on tenor saxophone, Tim Doyle on guitar, Mike Fillippone on bass and vocals, and Cameron Nixon on keyboards.
The Finest Grub to Shiver Ye’ Tasters (Translation: Excellent Food to Delight the Palate)

Come with a fun, can-do-anything mentality, and you might leave with some hefty booty!
